· THE WINE AND PROTECTED DESIGNATION OF ORIGIN FAIR HAS INCORPORATED TO NATIONAL GOLDEN NOSE 2007 TO ITS TECHNICAL MANAGEMENT TEAM.
The ¡°sommelier¡± and awarded as the national golden nose 2007, Antonio Jes¨²s Guti¨¦rrez Blanco, from M¨¢laga, has joined the technical management of the fair 2008 that will be celebrated from the 15th to the 18th of November in Torremolinos. Jes¨²s Guti¨¦rrez is the owner of the establishment Trujal Vinos, and his incorporation into the organization is accompanied by changes in the development of the `Premios Palacio¡¯ contest of the best wines and as well as the contents of the academic program.
The organization of the Wine Fair in the Costa del Sol that it is consolidated as one of the most important exhibitions of the annual calendar appointments in southern Spain (Andaluc¨ªa) obtains with the incorporation of Jes¨²s Gutierrez the added value of the prestige, credibility and transparency of the awards. Considered one of the biggest specialists in wine from Spain, is the first Andalusian to obtain the award of the Spanish national golden nose. This award is recognized internationally and Gutierrez has participated six times and in four times he was a finalist.
This fair arrives this year to its ninth edition and it is organized for the Congress Center of Torremolinos and the Town Councel of Torremolinos. Wines from three different continents (Europe, North and South America and Oceania) have confirmed their assistance to this Fair, official wine associations, producers and national and international distributors. In addition, the participation in the fair is mixed between professional and general public.
