· NEW CATEGORIES FOR THE ˇ°PALACIO AWARDSˇ± CONTEST, THESE TASTINGS WILL BE HELD IN PUBLIC VIEW.
There will be nine categories and two awards by category: Golden Medal and Silver Medal. These are the new clauses of the ˇ°Palacio Awardsˇ± Contest of the ninth edition of the Wine and Protected Designation of Origin Fair. The Fair will start from the 15th to the 18th in the Congress Center of Torremolinos.
The new technical management of the contest, run by the sommelier and Golden Nose 2007, Antonio Jes¨˛s Guti¨¦rrez, has renewed the contest rules and categories to actual reality of a market that experiments a strong competence and a high quality of the products. An important change is the celebration of the ˇ°blind tastingˇ± by wine experts to public view, for the wines that participate in the contest.
